A South Galway pub has damaged in an overnight fire.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the Castle Inn in Castledaly, Peterswell at 2:35 this morning.
Two units of the fire service from Gort and from Loughrea were sent to the scene near St. Thomas GAA ground on the main Gort-Loughrea Road, and the fire was brought under control at around 5:15 this morning.
The pub sustained extensive damage in the fire but there were no injuries.
