Former West Clare Fianna Fail Councillor Christy O’ Malley is set to make a return to local government.
He’s been selected to take up the vacant seat on Kilrush Town Council following the passing of Stephen O’Gorman last December.
Christy O’Malley who previously served as a councillor from 1994 to 2009 was selected by the Kilrush Fianna Fail Cumman yesterday and will officially take up his new role at the local authority’s February meeting tomorrow evening.
