Efforts by the Ennis business community to sustain and boost local employment will be stepped up this month.
As part of the Save Ennis and Clare Jobs campaign, representatives from the Ennis Development Forum and Ennis Chamber of Commerce have secured a meeting with the county’s 4 new TD’s and will hold preliminary talks on the 28th of March.
Last month, election candidates gave their commitment to work to save jobs in County Clare following a public meeting with local traders concerned that commercial rates, parking problems and rising rents are crippling the sector.
