The number of complaints made in Clare to the Ombudsman’s office increased by more than 20 percent last year.
Its latest annual report shows 69 complaints were registered in this county in 2021, compared to 57 the year prior.
However, it’s still just around half the number of complaints filed in Clare to the Ombudsman back in 2019, before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The office received more than 4,000 complaints nationwide last year, which is a jump of around 17 percent on 2020 levels.
