Clare County Council has become the first local authority to be recognised for its business improvement model through the development of its own staff.
The National Standards Authority of Ireland has bestowed the council with the Platinum for Excellence Through People Award.

According to the NSAI, the Certification recognises employers, such as Clare County Council, which are exemplars in how they attract, manage and develop their staff.
