Clare Cyclists Welcome Plans For Minimum Passing Distance For Motorists

The Clare Cycle Safety Initiative are welcoming plans to introduce a minimum passing distance for motorists to observe when overtaking a cyclist.

Under proposals laid out by Fine Gael, a fine of 80 euro and three penalty points would be imposed for drivers who fail to adhere to the new rules.
