St Vincent de Paul, Barnardos and the Disability Federation of Ireland have called on politicians to take action, as talks resume today between Fine Gael and Fianna Fail.

The two parties are set to get into substantive negotiations around policies after a 90 minute meeting last night that was aimed at building trust between them.

During the election campaign Clare Leader Forum outlined a number of ways the next governemnt could help people with disabilities, including the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Local Campaigner Anne Marie Flanagan says every day there is no action on this is another day that disabled people in Ireland are being let down.
