A Clare County Council delegation is taking part in a ceremony which marks the beginning of a formal friendship with a Chinese province.
Clare is entering into a five-year Friendship County/Province relationship with Yunnan Province, which is in the South-West of China, is bigger than Germany and has the same population as Spain.
A formal link is also being established between the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark and its Stone Forest Geopark, with both documents being signed this morning.
