Clare families hit by the severe floods of 2009 are being urged to attend a free seminar in UL today
The event is being hosted by the Irish national Flood Forum and will be addressed by several TDs and MEPs including Minister Brian Hayes- who has special responsibilty for the Office of Public Works
Several experts in the area of flood prevention as well as one of the mangers of the Ardnacrusha ESB power plant and the managment of the River Shannon will also be among the speakers today.
