Clare FM To Receive Camogie Award

Clarefm is line to receive a best local radio award tonight at the annual Camogie association awards in Croke park tonight.

The station has been rewarded for its coverage of Camogie during 2010 with special recognition given to commentary of the All Ireland minor finals as well as Corofin’s club All Ireland decider.

Clare’s number one station has also been praised for its dedication to promoting the game locally with its coverage of mathces at all levels and grades.

The success is the second time Clare Fm’s support and coverage of camogie has been recognised with the station also picking up the same award in 2009.

Clare Fm’s Sports editor Kevin Mc gillicuddy says the award is a reward for all the work being put in by camogie clubs in Clare.
