Clare Gardaí Advise Public To Put Safety First Over Bank Holiday Weekend

Clare Gardaí are urging the public to plan their night out over the August bank holiday period.

It comes as large crowds are expected to descend on the county’s pubs and clubs.

However those socialising are advised not to attempt to reason with an someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol to never travel home alone and to be aware of your belongings and surroundings at all times.

Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Tríona Brooks says personal safety should always be the top priority.
