Clare Gardaí will be out in force on the county’s roads today, as part of the ‘European Day Without A Road Death’.
Project EDWARD as it’s known – is held every September and aims to promote a a message of safe driving by avoiding any fatal crashes on the continent today.

The campaign, which is being run by TISPOL – the European Traffic Police Network – kicked into effect at midnight and will run right throughout today.
