Clare Gardaí Launch Witness Appeal After Cyclist Struck By Car In Ennis

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was struck by a vehicle in Ennis yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 1pm, a car collided with a young man on a bicycle near the entrance to the new Ennis National School on the Kilrush Road Roundabout.

The offending vehicle failed to remain at the scene though and travelled onwards in the direction of town.

Gardaí are urging any witnesses or drivers who may have been in the area and have dash-cam footage to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 684 8100.
