Gardaí in Clare are appealing to motorists not to drink and drive this bank holiday weekend.
Additional Gardaí have been deployed across the county to crack down on road offences including driving under the influence, speeding and failing to wear your seatbelt.
Officers are also carrying out covert operations across the county and will be on the look-out for people using their mobile phone or multimedia devices while driving.
