The Chair of Clare’s Joint Policing Committee says he “can’t understand” why Clare is lagging behind other counties regarding the provision of traffic calming measures.

The number of recorded speeding offences in this county is up 15% so far this year, with 1,135 separate incidents detected by Gardaí between January and April.
