Several young Clare lifesavers have picked up awards at the European Championships in Holland.
Bernard Cahill and Dylan Barrett who hail from Ennis won an individual Silver and Bronze respectively in the Run-Swim-Run competition which simulates a water rescue.
The duo, along with fellow Ennis man Cormac O’Sullivan were also part of the team which claimed Bronze in the Simulated Emergency Rescue Competition.
The Championships simulate real life rescue situations that these Lifesavers can expect to encounter as Lifeguards.
