People in Clare who’ve lost loved ones who’ve died by suicide are being offered local support over Christmas.
The Clare Suicide Bereavement Support is expecting an increase in calls from individuals, families and communities who are bereaved by suicide over the festive period.

The registered charity says it’s undergone a successful recruitment campaign to expand its support operations in recent weeks, with new volunteers to begin training in the new year.
Dan O’Connell of Clare Suicide Bereavement Support says many of those working in the group have direct experience of similar loss themselves.
