Clare remembers Road traffic accident victims today

Prayers are being said in parishes across the county today to remember all those who lost their lives in road traffic accidents in Clare.

Its to co-incide with World Remembrance Day for Road Traffic Victims with ceremonies taking place nationwide.

166 people have been killed on Irish roads so far this year, including two people near Shannon and Tulla.

However The Road Safety Authority says countless more have been saved due to changing attitudes of all road users.
