Community projects in Clare are set to take a major step forward following a significant funding boost.
A total of 26 initiatives across the county are set to benefit from an €800,000 allocation under the Community Climate Action Programme.
Among the organisations included are men’s sheds, tidy towns committees, GAA clubs and soccer clubs countywide.
Clare County Council Community Climate Action Officer Dara Dever says, the funding will enable these groups to reach new heights.
