It's estimated that over 3000 young people in Clare may not be registered to vote in the upcoming referendums.

The National Youth Council of Ireland is basing their estimate off national statistics.

The group has called on the thousands of young adults here, aged between 18 and 25, to check the register an ensure they can have their say in the votes on same sex marriage and the minimum Presidential age limit.

The deadline to register is one week away, on May 5th, but the National Youth Council is warning that forms will effectively have to be posted by this Friday.
