More than €800,000 has been allocated to Clare projects in the latest round of LEADER programme funding.
It’s part of a €20 million investment from the Department of Rural and Community Development into the scheme through to 2022.

The grants will see the development and enhancement of locally and rurally-led projects in areas such as enterprise development, climate change and the green, bio and circular economy.
Figures released through the Oireachtas earlier this year showed more than 7 million euro in programme funding has been spent in this county since 2017.
