Concerns have been expressed about public Services in Clare as the local authority copes with the loss of civil servants through recent retirements.
26 Staff at Clare County Council left their jobs through early retirements in the last two weeks, and Councillors have been told that services are now being re-adjusted accordingly.
A breakdown of the figures reveals that most of the staff to take the retirement package, were in the Transport, Water Services and Environment Sections, 17 of them from the Councils outdoor services.
