There's concern that not enough money has been allocated for street-lighting in Co Clare.
As part of the county's annual budget for 2017, 50,000 euro is to be provided for the provision of lights in towns and villages across the county.
But a Meelick Councillor believes it's not nearly enough to meet Clare's needs for the coming year.
