In Corofin a new post office has opened up in a new premises this morning which was formerly The Corofin Arms in the Main street of the North Clare village.

It will be operated by Ms Emer Burke , a member of the well known local business family.
Postal services in Corofin were suddenly halted on July 4th when the supermarket which operated the Post Office closed for business, however An Post pledged to find an alternative premises as quickly as possible.
