Families across the county will be doning their walking boots today to mark National Tree Week.
Clare County Council has organised a stroll in Dromore Woods at half two today as part of the activities taking place between now and next Sunday.
Clare County Council & the Tree Council of Ireland are also providing native tree species to many community groups around the county who have expressed an interest in planting native trees in public areas and Coillte is sponsoring trees for distribution through the local authority.
