Hundreds turned out in Ennis last night for the inaugural FBD Clare Business Excellence Awards.
The event, organised by Ennis Chamber of Commerce, recognised the efforts of a diverse range of businesses across Clare for their innovation, professionalism and customer service, particularly in difficult economic times.
Among the winners last night were Panalok Ltd in Ennis, Crosbies in Ennistymon, Michael Houlihan Solicitors in Ennis, and Clare Spring water in Lisseycasey.
The Ailwee Cave in Ballyvaughan, The Templegate Hotel in Ennis and Pacnet services in Shannon also received awards, as did the Clare vehicle Test Centre in Clarecastle and Ennis Walking Tours.
