There are further signs of a recovery in the housing market.
According to the latest property price index from the CSO, residential property prices rose by nearly 1 percent in September.
The biggest increase was seen in Dublin where prices went up by 2.4 percent last month.
But, across the rest of the country prices fell by point-1 percent.
