Clare Councillors could debate the controversial recently-installed bike lanes installed near St. Flannan’s College this week.
County Councillors meet today, while this month’s Ennis Municipal District meeting takes place tomorrow, amid the backdrop of residents’ concerns about the bike lanes which have led to reduced space for cars and frustrations from many local residents
Former Mayor of Clare Tommy Brennan is one of those, and he feels that the new bollards installed as part of the works have made the road more dangerous.
He wants the plans to be changed, and for the speed limit on the road cut instead.
