A Clare man has been crowned the 2019 Macra Na Feirme Young Farmer of the Year.
Dairy farmer Liam Hanrahan is the Director of Callanview Farm Limited and an active member of Kilrush Macra, he holds a PhD in Dairy Farm Efficiency and has significant international farming experience in New Zealand and France.
He was one of a number of farmers across the country, recognised for their achievements at an awards ceremony in Dublin last night.
