Irish Water says it expects supply disruption in parts of West Clare early next week.

The utility is currently carrying out improvement works to replace the old water main between Miltown Malbay and Mullagh, with the operation set to be completed by the end of June.

Irish Water says supply will be impacted next Monday, 22nd of February, between 9am and 6pm in Miltown Malbay, Mullagh, Cooraclare and Cree, with further issues anticipated on Wednesday, 24th of February, primarily in Mullagh village.

The utility says it continues to work with Clare County Council to ensure supply disruption is kept to a minimum until the works are finished.
