Issues on the Kilmaley Inagh Group Water Scheme are set to continue into the weekend.
The scheme, which is the largest of its kind in Europe and serves around 2,000 homes, has been covered by a “Do Not Drink” notice since last week, after operational issues led to above recommended levels of aluminium in the water.
Results of water quality tests being carried out this week have not been consistent to work is continuing in an effort to address the problem.
Water tankers have been provided at Inch, Inagh, Kilmaley and Connolly to serve the public until the issues have been resolved.
