Details of inquiry in Galway miscarraige death to be released

Details of the planned HSE investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Savita Halappanavar are due to be released today.

The terms of reference and the membership of the inquiry team are due to be finalised while the team will include an outside expert in obstetrics and gynaecology.

The 31-year-old died at University College Hospital in Galway last month after contracting septicaemia during a miscarriage.

Her family say she  repeatedly refused a medical termination.
