Clare joint hurling captain Cian Dillon says he doesn't pay much heed to comments made in the media.
The Crusheen clubman's comments come in light of remarks earlier this week by boss Davy Fitzgerald, in which he described some of the coverage the team is given in local media as "horrendous".
He also claimed some of the commentary puts unnecessary pressure on Clare's players.
However, Cian Dillion has told Clare FM that he prefers to concentrate on playing games rather than what appears in the media.
