Disappointment has been expressed at Ennis’s failure to host the 2012 Fleadh with Cavan set to once again be the venue for the event.
Ennis missed out by just a single vote after months of campiagning with the Ulster town winning the right to host the event for the third year in a row.

The Fleadh is seen as a huge economic boost to its host county and its value to the local Cavan economy over the past two years been estimated at 35 million euro.
