Dooley calls for clarity on Ennis General Future

Clare’s Fine Gael TDs  are being urged to "come clean" on exactly what health services Ennis General Hospital will be providing patients into the future.

In a joint statement today Deputies Pat Breen and Joe Carey insist that no final decision has been made on emergency medical care at Clare’s County Hospital, but it comes days after the HSE stated they will be transferred to Limerick.

The county’s government TDs believe all will be known once the Small Hospitals Framework Document is published but local Fianna Fail TD Timmy Dooley doesn’t believe that a sufficient explanation for Clare patients

Fianna Fail’s Timmy Dooley feels this is the approach that potential patients deserve, and insists it is one that he took while his party also implemented changes at Ennis General.
