A family run B&B in North Clare has been voted the best in Ireland.
Sheedy’s B&B in Doolin, which is run by husband and wife Frank and Marian were up against over 8.5 million businesses worldwide in Trip Advisor’s Traveller Choice Awards, claiming top spot here and coming in 6th in Europe and 12th in the world.
They’re one of four businesses in the top 10 spots in the Irish Rankings, with the Wild Atlantic Lodge in Lahinch coming in 5th Place, Daly’s B&B in Doolin coming in at 7th and the Hazelwood Lodge in Ballyvaughan in tenth place.
Maraian Sheedy says the loyal customer base created during the staycation period grew the business and served as a silver lining throughout the pandemic.
