Doonbeg Activist Hits Out At Gov For Failing To Address Biodiversity Crisis

A Doonbeg activist is hitting out at the government for failing to set a date for the Citizen’s Assembly on the Biodiversity Crisis before the Dáil recess.

Emma Karran, along with Emanuela Ferrari from Ennis, wrote an open letter to the government at the beginning of July calling for the more than two-year delay in setting a date for the Assembly to be rectified.

However, no action was taken prior to the Dáil Summer break which began on July 16th.
