While The Taoiseach’s preference is to meet President Trump at his Doonbeg Hotel and Golf Resort, Irish Officials have instead pressed for a meeting at another location, preferably Dromoland Castle.
A White House source has told The Irish Times that Donald Trump is now favouring a visit to Scotland instead during his European visit, but sources in Dublin still believe the Irish visit will still go ahead.
