Two Clare communities are set to reap the rewards of a significant investment in local projects today.
It comes as the Department of Community and Rural Development has announced €2.6m in funding for 53 projects nationwide under the Town Centre First initiative.
In Sixmilebridge, €50,000 has been granted for the design of a pedestrian footbridge across the O’Garney River.
The same amount will go towards the development of a wellness corridor in Lisdoonvarna.
