Over €200,000 In Sports Capital Funding For Four Clare Clubs

More than €200,000 in Sports Capital funding has been announced for four Clare clubs.

Minister for Sport Catherine Martin has announced the allocations this afternoon as part of an overall €6.1 million Sports Capital & Equipment Programme following the conclusion of the appeals process.

Newmarket-On-Fergus GAA club is to receive €80,000 for its Cora Caitlin GAA Renovation Project, while its board of management is to get €56,000 for developing a new artificial playing surface.

 

€50,000 has been earmarked for Doolin’s Russell Cultural Centre to refurbish the village’s community sports hall for multi sport purposes, while over €29,000 has been earmarked for Lifford Oldtown FC to develop a synthetic training area.
