Funding of more than €3.8 million has been allocated to a development of 18 social houses in Newmarket-on-Fergus.
The project is being funded by the Social Housing Capital Construction scheme under the Rebuilding Ireland programme and follow two announcements earlier in the week on housing projects for Quilty and Ennis.
The estate will be made up of four 1-bed, ten 2-bed, two 3-bed and two 2-bed specially adapted homes at Boheraroan just outside the town centre.
