Over €800,000 has been announced for Clare community and sporting organisations in a new funding boost.
26 groups in this county will benefit from the latest tranche of the Community Climate Action Grant.
Clare GAA, Crusheen GAA and Feakle GAA will receive over €236,000 between them for the benefit of cycle tracks and energy improvement projects.
The remaining €572,000 will be divided between local men’s sheds, tidy towns committees and amenities such as Kilkee Waterworld for projects varying from ground mounted solar panels,,bike shelters, polytunnels and water refill stations.
