Local campaigners say they're confident that badle-needed traffic calming measures will eventually come to one East Clare village.
There are calls for pedestrian crossings in the village, amid concerns that cars are travelling at high speeds in Kilkishen.
Chair of Kilkishen Development Association Mike Hogan insists these are particularly important for school children, though he concedes it could take time.
However, he's warned that there have already been a number of near misses because of drivers' speeding.
