Five Clare businesses are to share in a pot of quarter of a million euro in Government funding aimed at enhancing their online presence.
They’re among 216 retailers across the country who have been approved for funding under the Online Retail Scheme, which is administered by Enterprise Ireland.
The scheme was open to retailers who already have an online presences and online store so that they can exploit new opportunities and attract new customers.
Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English says the funding will provide a big boost for Clare.
