Management and Unions at Element Six are back at the Labour Relations Commission today.
Negotiations opened at the LRC last week in an effort to break the deadlock between the two sides over the redundancy deal on offer for staff, but adjourned till today.
The package is part of the Shannon Sustainability Plan which was approved by the CEO of the Company in an effort to keep jobs at the Shannon plant.
However, workers are not happy with the redundancy deal and say they will not endorse the plan unless the offer is improved.
Management are said to be looking forward to the recommencement of the LRC discussions and have described last week’s talks as constructive.
