Fine Gael will add Richard Bruton to the ticket in the Dublin Bay North constituency later this morning – after he failed to be selected by delegates last night.

The party held its selection convention to decide on two candidates to run in the general election.
Delegates opted to leave out the Jobs Minister and select Dublin city councillor Naoise Ó’Muirí and Stephanie Regan.
It's understood to be in reaction to a directive from the party's headquarters that in line with the gender quota rules, one man and one woman should be selected.
