Motorists are being advised to avoid the Lissycasey area for the time being following a serious road traffic collision.
Emergency services including Ambulance services, Gardaí and units of Clare County Fire and Rescue are currently at the scene of an incident involving a motorcycle and a tractor near Cragg.
It’s understood the immediate vicinity is currently impassable due to the large volume of emergency services in attendance.
Gardaí are asking motorists to delay travel plans if possible while the incident is being dealt with and not to chose an alternative route due to the possibility of heavy traffic entering unsuitable boreens and rural roads in the area.
