Bank of Scotland is to close its Halifax branch in Ennis on June 18th.
In a statement the bank has announced the process of closing down it’s 44 outlets across Ireland will be completed in two phases, – the Ennis branch will cease operating in the first phase..
The bank also says it will shortly begin writing to each Halifax and Bank of Scotland Ireland customer to explain how the move will affect them and what options are available.
Bank of Scotland Ireland announced last month that it was closing its Halifax branch network and associated services with the loss of 750 jobs.
