A Ennis school has been short-listed in a primary schools initiative which encourages children to create projects around global development issues.
Educate Together National School on the Gort Road is one of just eleven national schools nationwide to make it into the final of Our World Irish Aid Awards.

The projects submitted can take a number of forms including art, drama, essays, poetry, film and music.
The Awards will take place in Dublin Castle on February 17th 2011, where the overall winner will be announced.
