As many hapless husbands run to grab flowers for Valentines Day, a HelloFresh Ireland analysis has found the two Clare towns are in the top five most romantic locations in the country.

Lovebirds looking for a date night in fifth place Shannon, can find the average price of a cinema ticket at €8.25 or the average three course meal for two at just €65 in the industrial town.
Meanwhile, the study found 66% of the Irish public agree the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach so a night-in with a bottle of wine and local cheese would cost €13.50 in Ireland’s third most romantic town, Ennis.
